This set seems to be a power set, including a couple of new game mechanics ...
Sunday 2024-02-04 (prerelease card pool #1): BGw. Scores: 0-2 vs. WRb, 1-1 vs. WU, and 2-0 vs. UB.
Wednesday 2024-02-07 (prerelease card pool #2): WUb. Scores: 2-0 vs. WU, 0-2 vs. WG, and bye.
Only having had time to play a single prerelease event, this set seems like another power set, including yet again a couple of interesting new game mechanics ...
Sunday 2024-04-14 (prerelease card pool #1): RGwu. Scores: 0-1 vs. BGu, 0-2 vs. UBrg, and 2-0 vs. BG.
Another nice pauper (as opposed to prince) set ...
Saturday 2024-07-27 (prerelease card pool #1): WG. Scores: 2-0, 2-0, and 0-1 (which should also have been 2-0, due to my impatient casting of Rabbit Response, and the lack of timely casting it, respectively).
Saturday 2024-07-27 (prerelease card pool #2): WUb. Scores: 0-2, 1-2, and 1-1.
At first sight, this seems to be one of the most enjoyable sets to date, including several interesting new mechanics ... Also, due to my personal relationship planning, I'm permanently switching my prereleases venue to https://www.outpost.be/website/index.php&option=com_gamecenters&view=antwerp, where my only other face-to-face Magic: The Gathering play happens as well. I'm playing 2 full play booster boxes per set = 6 Sealed Deck card pools, historically going back to the Return to Ravnica block, which is when I resumed playing MTG, after a prior 15 years break (having yielded to competitive bridge play).
Saturday 2024-09-22 (prerelease card pool #1): WGb. Scores: 2-0 vs. RW, 0-2 vs. BRGw, 2-0 vs. BR, and 2-1 vs. WB.
Saturday 2024-09-22 (prerelease card pool #2): WBr. Scores: 2-1 vs. UG, 0-2 vs. WG, 0-2 vs. WG, and 0-2 vs. WB.
Another core set ... which plays like a core set ...
Sunday 2024-11-10 (prerelease card pool #1): WG. Scores: 0-2 vs. WUg, 2-0 vs. RG and WU, 0-2 vs. WRu, and 0-1 vs. WG mirror (unfortunately containing Valkyrie's Call).
Sunday 2024-11-10 (prerelease card pool #2): WGu. Scores: 2-0 vs. WG, 2-0 vs. UG, 0-2 vs. BG, and 0-2 vs. WR.
