Bodywork


Probably everybody has trauma and/or childhood related imprint issues, which unfortunately eats the nervous system for breakfast. Anyway, I love intuitive massage (i.e. not as a massage therapist), especially in the 'giver' role. I followed a few basic courses to supplement my own kind of 'style': mainly relaxation massage (via Andrée Borguet, Integrama) and all kinds of tantra massage (via Johan Raaimakers, Tantra-Atma), supplemented by LomiLomi massage (via Lotte Kaptijn, Praktijk Uit Handen), and at some future point in time maybe also bamboo massage. I regularly join 1-on-1 massage sessions organised by Ellie van Zoggel (Liefs van Ellie) and Carla Pool, respectively, and more guided free format 'Massage Dance' sessions organised by Els Van Santvliet and many others (Massagedans). The 'Oil Ritual' by Alexandra Jacquet (Het olieritueel in groep) really means having your cake and eating it too. Within the bodily experiences realm, I also particularly like Tantric Dance and Ritual Play (especially the Playfight format). There's a lot more out there, but limited (time) resources to experience it all ...

And then there's the 'Rituals and Paradoxes' book/podcast, and (where I'm at) the entry-level Surrender, Power, Desire, and Shame workshops by Andy Buru, going way beyond 'conventional psychology'. I don't even have words for this. The real deal for people who want to understand and feel it all, i.e. not for everybody. Next level ...
